Creekside Cares was created in January 2010.  It is a weekly backpack program that enables students to get a backpack full of food to have over the weekend.  Its target population, currently, are students/families within District 202 being hit by economic hardships, plus our 200 “homeless” students

Times are tough and many people are getting hit daily by economic hardships.   We recently partnered up with the Northern Illinois Food Bank who services 13 of the surrounding counties on a daily basis.  In those thirteen counties, 30% of the total unemployed workers in Illinois live in these counties, while 269,000 are living in poverty.  This is where Creekside Cares steps into to assist with making sure our community is not being neglected.  Plus we have also added Bob Evan’s to our Hunger Team as we strive to stop hunger in 202.

while focusing on someone else instead of putting the “blinders” up to the serious and in some cases, dire need many families are facing now. 

Mother Teresa says it best when she stated, “If you can’t feed 100 people, then just feed one!”  We are striving forward to fulfill this quote!

Lets Do All We Can to Help Here's How to Vote and Enter your Power Codes From Pepsi

1.     Go Here The Creekside Cares Pepsi Refresh Project page will pop up, and click on the vote icon

2.     You will have to enter a valid email and sign in, but be assured it does not send spam mail.

Plus power codes can be used to increase the number of votes submitted.  Up to 10 codes can be submitted daily. Then simply type in the 10 character code you see  The codes are on Pepsi/Diet Pepsi/Pepsi max, 20 oz & 2 liter under the yellow cap....Also on 12/24 packs on the inside of the box. You can also text your vote to    * 107882 to Pepsi (73774) to vote from your mobile. This is a daily vote so make sure you cast it every day for the month of August to ensure kids are not going hungry!

They can gain more votes by collecting power codes off pepsi/diet pepsi/pepsi max. they are under the yellow caps on 20oz or 2 liters and on the inside of 12/24 packs! Thank you in advance.
